Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies Newzlet uses and how to control them. It matches what the site actually does; for the wider picture of what data we collect, see our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others measure traffic or support advertising. Newzlet does not use cookies to build a profile of you by name — we have no accounts and never ask you to log in.

The cookies this site uses

  • Essential (WordPress). A small number of first-party cookies keep the site secure and functioning. These do not track you across other sites.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4. We use GA4 to measure traffic: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and the site you arrived from. This uses cookies and similar identifiers to tell returning visits from new ones.
  • Advertising — Google AdSense. The ads that fund the site are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies to deliver ads and, where you have allowed it, to personalise them based on your visits here and to other sites.

How to control cookies

You are in control. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage Google’s ad personalisation directly at Google My Ad Center. Blocking analytics or advertising cookies does not stop you reading anything on Newzlet — the site works fine without them.

Third parties

The analytics and advertising cookies above are set by Google, and Google’s use of the data it collects is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data.

Changes

If the cookies we use change, we will update this page. Questions go to contact@newzlet.com.
